Here are some of our therapists and their specialties

Lori:
Lori has been a licensed massage and bodywork practitioner for over 18 years in a variety of settings. She has worked with Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Medical Doctors, Naturopaths, and Athletic Trainers. Along with a thriving massage practice, she has also taught anatomy, nutrition, ethics, and all topics associated with therapeutic bodywork at a few accredited massage schools in Arizona. She took a little time off from active participation in massage, and has returned with a whole different outlook on the profession.
“Most of my practice has incorporated a lot of deep therapeutic work. I have found over the years, it is the more subtle work that creates the biggest and most long-term changes within individuals.
With the use of various styles of bodywork, energy, and essential oils, I hope to assist my clients in reconnecting with the health they once knew.”
Modalities include but are not limited to: gentle myofascial release (John Barnes method), deep tissue, Energy Work, Reflexology, integrative, Shiatsu, doTerra oils

Angie Lindsley
My name is Angie and it has been a very positive experience to come on board at the Cosmic Groove.
As a native of Asheville, I feel blessed to Be here and raise my family here too.
My massage education was completed in 2011 and I became licensed in 2012. I decided to attend massage school after receiving quite a bit of positive feedback while working as an acupuncturists assistant. I’be always had the holistic desire to help others while helping myself. Massage and bodywork therapy has been wonderful in helping to fulfill that desire.
In february 2013 I made the decision to leave the 8-5 systematic lifestyle in order to switch directions of my journey. I listened to my heart. Once that decision was made, firmly and knowingly, the next day, I was invited to join Cosmic Groove. I am a big fan of synchronicity!
I turn into what someone’s body is asking for while in a massage session keeping in mind of course, what the person has requested.
Integration of Deep tissue, Swedish, Reflexolgy and Reiki is how I would sum up what I offer in a session. Any of the modalities can be focused on specifically if requested or vice versa.
Life is an impeccable journey if we allow the flow to come and go and we remember to embrace appreciation for all beings and experiences.
Thank You!
